It started in Grenada, where carpentry is the way of life. For the James family, building is a source of pride. Residential improvements, furniture making, and manufacturing built structures and character.

With limited supplies, construction required ingenuity, which proved to be more valuable than tools. The island fostered the ability to problem solve and develop new solutions. It made tradesmen believe: there are no limitations.

Early Beginnings

At just 16 years old, Samuel James ran with that belief, and built his first house alongside his father. Growing up around master carpenters and masons, he developed a deep respect for quality workmanship. There, Sam found his calling in carpentry.

Grenada to America

In 1987, Sam moved to Long Island, New York. Where he learned construction the American way. After years of refining his craft in Long Island, he carried that experience to the lone star state of Texas.

In San Antonio, TX Sam has served over 50 clients and continues to serve the San Antonio Metro area with the same philosophy:
